Founded in 1997, Elektroweigl SRL began as a German-Romanian joint venture, taking over the clients and assets of S.C. Mc Hara Internațional, a company active in the computer market since 1995.
Elektroweigl signs distribution contracts for the Transylvania region with several hardware and software manufacturers, among them McAfee antivirus and the firewall solutions from Check Point Software Technologies.
The partnership with Brammer Romania begins. It is still active today, after a change of ownership.
The company becomes wholly Romanian, with 100% domestic capital.
Following a rebranding process, the company takes the name netITworks, keeping its objective of delivering integrated IT solutions and its leading position in the IT market.
